We are fortunate to have the backing of top-tier institutions like Harvard University, where the company was incubated, as well as access to Y Combinator's network and the support of leading investors including Bain Capital Ventures.

Nevertheless, at our core we focus on long-tail risk. In the unlikely event of Legacy ceasing operations, we have agreements in place with our cryogenic storage providers to take ownership of the deposit.

Since we offer wholesale pricing, the biggest risk to you is having to pay retail rates for the cryostorage (approximately 2x the rate we charge).

You would be given the option of keeping your deposit stored at the same location, or transferring them to a new location, and Legacy would support this process to the greatest extent possible.
